Angel Lane

This 33 storey residential building in Stratford, provides 181 homes is located adjacent to the railway station, closely neighboring the popular Westfield shopping centre. Assisting our client with the planning application for craneage and Network rail were all significant constraints to the building. The design of the tower is in four sections & there are three stacked boxes of precast cladding with an inset layer between each, above these is a 4 storey glazed structure for the penthouses. Due to the building height and storey depths, we worked closely with the team to mitigate all transfer around these three inset levels by the use of structural cladding elements and only required a transfer slab to support the glass box on top.
