Infrastructure

High quality infrastructure is often unseen, but brings great benefit to the community and society at large. When developing inner city brownfield sites it’s rare for there not to be some form of infrastructure requirement. These can include upgrades, diversions & sewer realignments to name a few. We have the design expertise to deliver the innovative technical solutions required for these projects, and often use 3D BIM compliant modelling techniques to ensure all elements of the works are coordinated. Examples of our experience in the sector include a major 7m deep sewer realignment for the Tesco Woolwich project;  and a 1.8m diameter tunnel in Docklands which facilitated development on the Indescon and Lanterns Court projects. On both these schemes we were able to significantly reduce the lead by taking the design away from the statutory undertaker (in this case Thames Water) and carrying out the design in-house.
