This highrise mixed-used development incudes office space, 140+ new homes, 150,00 sq.ft of commercial space and over 113,000 sq.ft of residential space, including penthouses at the 28th and 29th floor. The development is located in central Birmingham opposite the prominent Bullring & Grade II listed St Martin’s Church. It is also within the Birmingham Big City Plan development area. We provided our client with the full remit of structural & civil services to bring their vision for this well located development to fruition. There was a real focus on community cohesion and well-being, with the development including a new public square called “Orwell Place” – linking the Bullring to the Northwest; and Allison Street to the South. The Tower’s architecture is linked to the original use of the land as burgage plots during early settlements of Birmingham.
