The Island Point development is a residential scheme in the Isle of Dogs, London with 173 residential units. The residential blocks are 4 to 6 storeys in height and use a concrete frame on piled foundations. The houses and maisonettes are up to 3 storeys high. Our main task for this project was to provide detailed design and RC details for this project. We also carried out cut and fill analysis to evaluate efficiency of proposed external ground levels. Flood Risk Assessments were also recommend to raise the external level to minimum 300mm above peak flood level as the site is located in Flood Zone 3 of the River Thames.
